How much does it cost to run my old A/C System?

How much money will I save if I buy a new high efficiency A/C System?
OUR GOALS

I treat clients on an individual basis, trying to meet their needs with the equipment and services available. I believe the equipment sale is only a part of a TOTAL SOLUTION. The remaining part is the ENTIRE BUILDING  ENVELOPE. My theory is why spend thousands of hard-earned money on High-Efficient Equipment and not pay attention to other areas of the building that are inefficient. For example, air leakage can be either in or out. Air Ducts can leak conditioned air out to an unconditioned space and rob a consumer of valuable conditioned air from it's intended purpose...your comfort. Air Duct leakage is  a major source of energy waste in many buildings. Doors and windows are also possible sources for high energy bills, causing conditioned air to escape or allowing unwanted unconditioned air to enter your building. Another simple solution to consider is increasing the R-Value of insulation in a home, thus decreasing the load for both heating and cooling seasons and lowering energy bills.

ZONING OPTIONS

Some clients  may be interested installing a multi-zone system that allows individual temperature control for different zones. Very simply a Zoning System uses one main Air Conditioner or Heating System to control the temperature in multiple zones or areas of a dwelling. This is done through a series of electronic sensors, dampers and a microprocessor. For example, some split level homes that were typically built in the '70's used One (1) system to control the temperature in the whole house. This often leads to either warm or cold rooms. A zoning systems still uses the one system to heat or cool the home, but as the room reaches the desired temperature a damper closes which feeds the conditioned air to that zone and allows the system to continue to run until all the zone thermostats (sensors) are satisfied. The microprocessor that is the heart of the multi-zone system takes inputs from all the zone sensors and damper positions to determine the run time for the Air Conditioner or Furnace. This type of system also allows the homeowner the freedom to have different desired temperature set points for different rooms or zones in their home. A standard zoning comes as a four (4) zone system, but can be expanded up to 8 or more, depending upon the individual's needs. For more information please contact:
